Upstream Family was born from the desire to encourage other families to live not according to the world, but according to the Word. 

Following God in obedience is an adventure and we want to do it with boldness and in the freedom to be all He's created us to be, to live the abundant, joyful life He's promised. We want to be connected to one another with unity in words and actions, thankful for all God has done. We want to act on the passions He's given us in creative ways that honor Him.

We aspire to raise our children to know their identity in their Creator alone and teach them what it means to carry the power of the Holy Spirit inside of them. We hope that our children will understand they can change the world, just by loving the person God puts in front of them. 

As parents, we need to encourage and lift one another up. We hope that this space becomes a community where we can do just that.
